Joe riding his Christmas ZebraWell, I don't know about all of you, but I am very ready for a new year.
I welcome 2007 with great enthusiasm and expectations. 2006 was filled with many hardships, but we experienced many blessings as well.
We just returned from a wonderful trip to Florida where we were able to visit Dad & Suzanne in Orlando. We had a great time. Joe especially loved splashing in the spa with his grandparents. Looks like Joe and I are in desperate need of more sun!
After our visit with Joe's Ewing grandparents we zipped on over to Summerfield, FL for a visit with Joe's Romasco grandparents. They are just fabulous. We had a ball visiting with them and with Joe's aunt Dawn. Joe loved seeing the beautiful lights in the neighborhood and we went to a farm which had an incredible light display. Grandma Mary pulled out all the stops to cook some of her terrific recipes for us. We had stuffed cabbage one night and spaghetti another. Joe went crazy with the spaghetti and I think I'm still washing it off of him! Only Grandma Mary can make those things taste just right. Yummmmmm!
Of course, Joe was absolutely spoiled by ALL of his grandparents, but those four were not enough. Christmas day we headed to visit Grammy & Grumpy in Fredericksburg where Joe was further spoiled by two more wonderful grandparents along with Julia, Tara, Anthony, Kaiya, Terry and Roger. Mom had a delicious buffet set up and we had a fun time watching the kids open a tremendous amount of gifts. We even got to see Uncle David briefly on the 26th! I haven't had a chance to upload all of my pictures yet, but I will post more pics in the FlickR album soon. I hope everyone reading this will have a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
Love,
Jennifer
