Countdown to Two

We just had a wonderful weekend visit with Matt's folks. They're fabulous, and somehow (unlike the rest of us) seem to get better with age. Joe had such fun being the center of attention. I think Mom & Pop really got a kick out of seeing how much he's learned. They were disappointed that their visit would not be long enough to stay for Joe's birthday, so yesterday they went out and bought a cake to celebrate early. It was the first time Joe blew out birthday candles and he did so good! I think he'll be a pro by the end of the week. Friday afternoon he's having a little party with Natalie and Lizzy and this weekend we'll go to see Grammy, Grumpy, Julia, Anthony & Kaiya.
